The Europain trade fair brought together all the players in the bakery industry during 4 days. More than 52,000 professionals discovered the exhibitors' new products, distributed for the first time in 3 sectors: PRODUCING, SELLING, MANAGING.
The Europain 2018 show welcomed more than 32% of international visitors from around the world, always more attracted by the French excellence of the sector, an increase of 12% compared to the last edition.
The New Products
More than 100 new products were presented at the show: in terms of products and ingredients, we are witnessing a rise in natural, organic products and transparency of supply. On the equipment side, flexibility, ergonomics and energy efficiency are the order of the day.
Programming and competitions
Mirroring a sector in full swing, the new Europain Forum was full of visitors who came to learn about the major trends and best practices of the profession. The 4 Labs (Intersuc Lab, Baker's Lab, The Restaurant/ Shop and the new Wellness and Naturalness Lab (with Boréa)) hosted more than 100 demonstrations of pastry chefs and bakers who gave their tips and know-how to hundreds of visitors. The 3 major competitions (Mondial des Arts Sucrés, Bakery Masters and the French Schools' Cup) dedicated to the world of bakery-pastry allowed visitors to discover new recipes and meet promising or already established talents.
